Tilicho Lake Trekking

Tilicho lake trekking  is one of an adventure and popular lake trekking, It is also known as World Highest Lake ( 4,949 m) trekking - located in Annapurna area, Western Nepal. Tilicho Lake is an area of rough and wild beauty. The area of Tilicho Lake is 4km by 1km lake at 4900m. There is no visible outlet. The southern shore is a glacial wall pushing in from the south, while a segment of the north shore is a magnificent sheer cliff. Once tourism becomes more sophisticated sea kayaks would the ideal method of crossing the lake and eyeballing the glacial walls, Alaskan style.

The Thorong La pass, at 5416 meters, marks the highpoint of the trekking after which the trail joins the kali Gandaki River that flows through the deepest gorge on earth. Tilicho lake trek offers to see you flora and fauna, villager’s lifestyles, cultural and different biodiversity lowland to highland. The Manang valley is inhabitant of Manangi people, influenced of Tibetan religion, culture and lifestyles.
