224 Kms from Kathmandu via Munglin on East-West Highway. A proposed tunnel route is in the stage of implementation.

Airport: Simara Airport, some 30 minutes drive is regularly connected to Kathmandu.

Natural Heritages

1. The city is clean and green with Ashok tree on the street green belt

2. Hetauda is basically a doon, with Mahabharat range on the north and Shiwalik range on the south.

1. Churemai temple to the west is worshipped by hindus.


Chisapani Gadhi, Makawanpur Gadhi are of historic importance

Palung Valley is very popular for agricultural products including lamb cheese

Daman Simbhyanjhang offers amazing view of the small hills outside

Kathmandu. Daman has a view tower and is very popular for snow-fall

Sahid Smarak Park is the Martyrs’ Memorial Park, a popular picnic spot these days.

Hetauda Industrial Area houses a majority of multinational FMCG industries.
