Jumla-Rara-Talcha Trek
The monsoon rain was just over and the we got into action. It was a tiring trek of 12 days to the place
we had been dreaming of since our college days. This is a collection of some amazing scenes, we were blessed with, during the journey.
Everything shot, written or even said is incomplete about the experience one would encounter on this route.
Rara Lake-the nymph of heaven
Also known as Mahendra Daha, this lake lies at an altitude of some 3000mtrs above sea level and spread over 10 sq. kms making it the largest lake in the country.Situated within the Rara National Park, the lake hosts a rich biodiversity. The park is a paradise for bird watchers and the surrounding is very fertile for Yarchagumba fungus.
