MTV Roadies X2 shot in Nepal

Lots of Bollywood celebrities have recently been visiting Nepal. From Akshay Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Aamir Khan, Ravina Kapoor to Gul Panag and Jeetendra are some of them. Be it movie shooting, brand endorsement, family functions or holidays, Nepal has recently been on the list of favourite destination for them. The new addition on the list are Esha Kapoor, Karan Kundra, Ranvijay Singh and Vijendra Singh and that too for the shooting of one of the most Popular reality shows on Indian Television.


MTV Roadies is being shot at different locations in Nepal. The cult youth reality show Roadies now on its 12th season, is being hosted by the first Roadie, Ranvijay Singh and is joined by Olympic Gold medalist Boxer Vijendra Singh, Actors Karan Kundra and Esha Deol.The auditions were shot at various location in India and the final episodes are being shot at different locations in Nepal. As per posts on the FB pages of Ranvijay, Esha Deol, Karan and Vijendra Singh, they have been shooting at Lumbini, Pokhara, Bhairahawa and Kathmandu.

They make up individual teams with the participants.The gangs and their leaders will compete against each other through a series of tasks. The gang leader and a gang member who stays till the end, winning the maximum number of tasks, will be the ultimate winner of MTV Hero Roadies X2.

The format of the show well suits Nepal as the best location for shooting as Nepal is often quoted as a heaven for adventure sports. From wildlife to high altitude trekking, mountaineering, rafting, bungee and many more can easily serve to anyone seeking adventure in Nepal. Lots of bollywood movies and television shows have been shot in Nepal namely Amitabh Bachhan starrer Khuda Gawah, Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman’s Haare Krishna Haare Ram, Akshay Kumar’s Baby, Star Plus show Everest and many more.

MTV Roadies X2 is on air since January 24th. It will be telecasted every Saturday 7:30pm NST.
