Details:

Daman stands proudly between Kathmandu and Hetauda with its own natural beauty to shine. It’s neither like Kathmandu nor like Hetauda. It has its own thing to attract tourists. It is probably the only place in Nepal from where the whole Himalayan range can be seen very clearly. A tower has been made in ‘Daman Mountain Resort’ for the simplified yet the most spectacular view ranging from Dhaulagiri to Mt. Everest.

Some of the outdoor activities that could be done in Daman are listed below:

1.       A perfect sunrise and sunset view

2.       Boating and Fishing in Indra-Sarobar Lake

3.       Bird-watching in the shady forests

4.       Mountain-Biking for shorter as well as long routes

5.       Hiking along the botanical grasslands

6.       Pony-riding

7.       Walk to nearby monastery ( Sri Rikeshwor Mahadev)

Climatic conditions around the Year:

October-December:  There is only a little chance for rain. So the range could be viewed very clearly.

December-February:  Very clear view during the day time and cool and comfortable nights.

March-May:  Skies are clear blue and Forests are in full color.

June-August: Days are rainy. Still it does not create any trouble for outdoor activities.

September-November:  Days are warm and nights are           cool.
